We were pleased to welcome so many patients to our Open Day recently.
Many old friends and new patients came to see us, enjoy a cup of tea and cake, and talk to us about our service and brands, as well as admiring the refurbished practice.
On the day we welcomed Deputy Mayor, Councillor Mary Hopkinson and Councillor Richard Harris, who had a tour of the practice and saw for themselves how patients benefit from the use of cutting edge technology alongside great customer service.
Principal Optometrist and Business Owner Douglas Glass said: “We’ve been on Long Eaton High Street for nearly 50 years. We recently underwent a major refurbishment, so we wanted to take the chance to celebrate the great British High Street, show off our new look and introduce patients new and old to a wide range of frames including a new collection from British designer Paul Smith.
We were pleased to see so many people on the day, and hope that they will continue to use our practice, and that of the many other independent businesses in Long Eaton.”
Councillor Mary Hopkinson attended: “Ryley & Evans made me most welcome and I thank them for their time in introducing me to their practice. I was really interested to see a high resolution photograph of my eyes with the Optomap equipment and talk to Mr Glass about overall good health and the connection to good eye health.
“It’s important that we celebrate and use the many independent businesses in the town as they greatly add to the diversity of the local economy.”
