Ryley & Evans hunt for D Day veterans

The team at Ryley & Evans are helping one of our patients track down other veterans of the Second World War. Ninety-one-year-old Mr Godfrey served in the Hallamshire Battalion of the York and Lancaster Regiment and landed in Normandy in June 1944. He was recently awarded the Chevalier de l’Orde National de la Legion d’Honneur for his part in the liberation of France. We are delighted that our Optometrist Shyam Lakhani is going on a two week assignment with Vision Aid Overseas in June.
